Re: moyes tactics/formation
I see Fredericks as a problem. He's got pace for sure but his quality on the ball is terribke and the wing backs are your width so need to be good crossers and good dribblers. Fredericks in my opinion is a better fullback than wing back.

The best right wing back we have is Antonio imo who is pretty similar to Masuaku in that respect. Wing backs dont need to be as defensively sound.

I reckon we'll go 3-4-3 like last time as the same central midfield frailties remain and a way to shore it up is wth the extra CB behind them so they are harder to just run past.

Who plays with Rice is the medium term key - it will be Noble to start but he needs replacing. Id like to see Fornals tried as the most mobile and hard working of our central playmakers.

Up top will be target man Haller, Lanzini who he liked and trusts from last time, and if not Antonio then Anderson who is not dissimilar to Joao Mario as more of a ball carrier and passer.

Fabianski

Balbuena Diop Ogbonna

Antonio Rice Noble Masuaku

Anderson Haller Lanzini

Feel sorry for Cresswell but hes not really got the pace to play at wing back, although he crosses better than Masuaku which could go in his favour.

Fredericks just isnt good enough at the top end of the pitch to be a wing back.

Haller and Antonio up front could be very exciting or slightly mental but I for one want to see it maybe half way through a game or if he is brave from the get go.

Re: moyes tactics/formation
That midfield is far too lightweight. It would get completely overrun.

Could be 352 as he did this last time- however we have better defensive personnel now so we could stick with 4 at the back. so as not to be too disruptive after only a few days.

I can see him going for graft in midfield so it could be Noble, Rice and Snodgrass with Anderson shifted up front to use his pace and take any defensive responsibility away from him.

Who fucking knows. it'll be interesting to see who he picks and in what formation, though. I think he'll shake it up a bit with the front 6. He'll want compact, tough to play through, effort and then speed up front to play on the break like last time he took over I think.

That's 3-2-3-2.

The main tactic should be run, tackle, pass, run. All match not just for the first half hour. Something Pellegrini never quite managed to achieve.

No a chance in hell Fornals, Anderson and Lanzini all starting. No way.
